Most of our Spud Barges are outfitted with 4 spud wells on each corner for flexibility in spud placement. Depending on the vessel, our Spud Barges come equipped with either hydraulic or mechanical winches to raise and lower spuds or are leased as “drop spud” units (without winches to raise or lower spuds).
